Explain your thought process behind starting your own brand. What motivated you to even try?

My mission is to empower women to look good, feel good, and dream bigger. That mission was born out of my own struggles — a season where I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. In that process, I turned to art as both therapy and clarity, creating vision boards and setting intentions that carried me forward. Now, I channel those lessons into wearable art apparel that tells powerful stories of resilience, transformation, and purpose. Each piece is designed to inspire and empower others to dream bigger, just as I once had to. Through my work, I continue to merge art, fashion, and storytelling into a movement of empowerment and creative expression.

What does Beyond The Runway mean to you?

Everyone has a story. For me, it was my own struggles that became the catalyst for my work as an artist and designer. The runway isn’t just about the looks, the beauty, or the style — it’s about the people behind the fashion and the powerful stories they share. I narrate my life through the art on my clothing, and in turn, my customers, audience, and models can reflect, connect, and create their own stories as they wear my work.

Why did you pursue fashion as a career/hobby?

I have always loved fashion. Then I graduated school with my BFA in graphic design. Over time I did a lot of freelance work. Eventually I was tired of designing for other people, and I decided to try something new. I started putting my artwork onto clothing, and over time it continued to grow into something powerful.

Who motivates you to pursue your dreams and never give up?

It was my kindergarten teacher who first inspired me. I drew a self portrait of myself and she was so impressed that she told me I should be an artist when I grow up. That was the catalyst to my artist dreams.
