Give the readers an introduction to your brand. Share what sets your brand apart from others.
KDaniels Designs is the home of the WOW moments. This is the design house where you can expect the unexpected. We strive to make sure you are the standout of the room.
Explain your thought process behind starting your own brand. What motivated you to even try?
I started my brand because making clothes gave me confidence that I never had growing up. As someone who struggled with self confidence, it became an aspiration of mine to help other people feel beautiful and confident in their bodies.
What does Beyond The Runway mean to you?
God has opened many doors for me throughout the years, but being able to show my work on an international stage is an amazing opportunity. I think every designer dreams of being able to show their work in Paris, so this runway is a vision come to life at the right time.
Why did you pursue fashion as a career/hobby?
Fashion fell in my lap as a child and came natural to me. It never left me even when I wanted (and did) leave it. Now I couldn't see myself without it.
Who motivates you to pursue your dreams and never give up?
God. I would be nothing without God pushing me and giving me strength everyday. Motivation is fleeting. You need that push of a bigger purpose to continue moving forward. Knowing that God placed me in this lane so that He could use my gifts to bless others is what pushes me on the days when I really want to quit it all.
